A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF LAKE QUIVIRA, KANSAS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-4112 OF THE KANSAS STATUTES ANNOTATED, PERTAINING TO ASSESSMENT OF COSTS IN COURT CASES FILED IN THE LAKE QUIVIRA MUNICIPAL COURT

Whereas, the City of Quivira, Kansas, by the power vested in it by Article XII, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, elects to exempt itself from and make inapplicable to it, Section 12-4112 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, said section relates to the establishment and assessment of court costs. Said enactment of the legislature is applicable to the City of Lake Quivira, Kansas, but not uniformly applicable to all Kansas cities. The City of Lake Quivira hereby elects to provide substitute provisions as herein provided.

Section One. The Governing Body hereby determines the Municipal Court Judge shall provide by Administrative Order for the amount and manner of assessment of court costs and court fees deemed appropriate by the Municipal Court Judge.
